SecureDisc - Rimage Edition

Password Protected Encryption for Automated CD & DVD Production

NOW FIPS 140-2 VALIDATED!

SecureDisc secures the contents of any DVD or CD using a password. It is the only disc encryption product specifically designed for use with Rimage Disc Publishing equipment in a production environment. With SecureDisc, organizations have the ability to completely secure any content distributed on disc by simply specifying a password.

SecureDisc works with Rimage’s Production Server service as a plug-in. When invoked, SecureDisc automatically encrypts the disc data for each disc before being recorded. Encryption passwords may be specified per job through a merge field, or a password file included with the disc content. A fixed password that will be used for all discs produced may also be specified.

To read encrypted discs, the intended receiver must have the SecureDisc client software installed on their PC and the correct password.

Discs are encrypted using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 256-bit algorithm, and processed at the image format level for even stronger security. SecureDisc can encrypt data DVDs and CDs, as well as video DVDs that will be played back on a PC. SecureDisc does not require the use of specialized media.
