SpanDisc
spans a large set of data across multiple DVDs and CDs.
Used in conjunction with any Rimage Disc Publishing
equipment, SpanDisc automates the process of backing-up
an entire hard disk or mapped network drive.
SpanDisc
completely manages the process of recording the entire
contents of a hard disk to DVDs and CDs. Since most
hard disks are larger than 4.7GB, SpanDisc automatically
splits folders and other content across multiple discs,
while preserving existing folder and file structure
and integrity. Discs are appropriately marked “1
of n, 2 of n” and so on. Discs created with SpanDisc
do not need a special viewer to be restored, simply
copy the file back to its desired location.
SpanDisc
also offers automatic runoff from DVD to CD, eliminating
the waste of a blank DVD to record less than 700MB.
SpanDisc also offers an unattended command line mode
for automatic job scheduling using Windows Task Scheduler.
